Eligibility: 

1. International students in good health

2. Age:

• Bachelor: under 25 years
• Master's: under 40 years
• PhD: under 45 years

3. Applicants for bachelor's degree (Chinese-taught), must attend the entrance exam (Examination time will be announced by email).

• Subjects: Chinese Language and Mathematics
• Examination Time: May, June (Candidates choose one to take the examination.)

5. English-taught program or International Economics and Trade (1+3) program doesn't need to take the exam.

1. Graduation Certificates, must be Original of Notarized in Chinese or English.

2. Official Transcripts, must be Original of Notarized in Chinese or English.

3. One Photocopy of Passport (Ordinary Passport)

4. Requirements of Language:

• Chinese-Medium Programs: HSK 4
• English-Medium Programs (for applicants from Non-English Speaking Countries): IELTS 5.5(Bachelor) 6.0(Masters)/TOEFL 70(Bachelor) 80(Masters) /Official English Proficiency Certificate.

8. A Personal Statement, above 1000 words for masters, and above 1500 words for doctorates, must be in Chinese or English;

9. Two Recommendation Letters from your referees, including their contacts, must be Original in Chinese or English;

The referees should be professors or associate professors. At least one of them should have knowledge of your recent academic work;

Note: For applicants of master's or doctoral degrees, it is recommended to give priority to the High-Level Postgraduate Program of USTB CSC scholarship (Type-B), and will get a second opportunity for review under the USTB Chancellor Scholarship.

Admission Result: International student center will declare the names of successful candidates at the end of June, and will send out admission letters in July.

Application fee: 600 RMB (Application fee will not be returned)

Application Period: From December 15 to June 15.
