Majors:

1. All majors for international students are open to application.

2. Recommended majors as follows:

(1) Master’s programs: International Chinese Language Education, MBA, Tourism Management, Public Administration, Agricultural Engineering, Thai Translation (Only for Thai students), Vietnamese Translation (Only for Vietnamese students), Educational Management, Applied Psychology, Social Sports Instruction.

(2) Doctoral programs: International Chinese Language Education, Agricultural Engineering, Studies of Higher Education, Educational leadership and management, Human Geography, Physical Geography, Optical Engineering.

Eligibility: 

1. International students in good health

2. Age:

Bachelor: under 25 years

Master's: under 40 years

PhD: under 45 years

3.Should be friendly to China, have no criminal record, and abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese and the rules and regulations of Yunnan Normal University. 

4. Applicants should meet the admission requirements of YNNU in terms of academic ability, language proficiency and so on.

5. Applicants have no other scholarship awarded at the time of application.

Documents:

1.Application Form of Chinese Government Scholarship (In Chines or English）

2. A photocopy of passport (Ordinary passport)

3. Notarized Highest diploma and Degree certificate (Bachelor’s and above). If applicants are graduating, you must provide a pre-graduation certificate.

4. Academic Transcripts (from the undergraduate program onwards).

5. Valid photocopies of HSK reports.

6. Pre-admission documents. Applicants who pass the admission qualification examination will the receive the pre-admission notice issued by Yunnan Normal University and upload the pre-admission notice to the http://www.campuschina.org.

7. A study plan（in Chinese or in English, no less than 1000 words）. The proposal of a doctoral student shall be signed by their Chinese supervisor. A study plan includes but not limited to personal study or work experience, academic research outcome, plan of master or doctoral duration, personal goal after graduation.)

8. Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English written by professors or associate professors.

9. Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The examination result is valid for only 6 months. Please bring the original copies when you come to China.

10. Certificate of Non-Criminal record report. The applicants shall submit a valid certificate of Non-Criminal Record issued by the local public security authority, usually issued within 6 months before the submission date of the application.

11.Applicants under the age of 18 should submit the valid documents of their legal guardians in China.

12. Other Awards certificate or research result.
